Sisters Outdoor Leadership Experience

Lovin' the OutdoorsSisters Outdoor Leadership Experience is an experiential / adventure-based learning opportunity that focuses on developing accountability, leadership, emotional growth, improved self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships.

This outdoor component compliments the counseling department’s goal of helping students gain the skills necessary to overcome adversity.

Throughout the year, students engage in small groups that explore topics such as stress management, motivation to change, decision making and self-reflection. Group meetings also include learning camping skills such as packing a backpack, setting up a tent or shelter, cooking over a stove and “LNT” philosophies.

This program is free to student thanks to the generous support from local entities.
