At Sisters Middle School, young scientists learn how to think critically about what we know, and how we know it.

At Sisters Middle School, young scientists learn how to think critically about what we know, and how we know it. Students learn how to collect evidence, evaluate that evidence, and build a foundation of understanding that will serve them well in this highly scientific and technological age in which we live. Whether students are headed into science and engineering careers or not, all citizens need to have a solid understanding of the world we live in, how it works, and how the process of science continually refines its models of the cosmos.

Science classes at SMS are hands-on and fully participatory, incorporating best teaching practices, creative lessons, and fun. Students come away with the knowledge and skills to be a key player in the 21st century, but also with increased curiosity about how the world works, and how to figure it out.
